Being successful is really about learning how to get visitors to your site.

This is usually done by being really good at search engine optimization (SEO).

SEO is basically learning how to optimize your site so you appear on page one of Google which in turn results in more visitors landing on your website.

Please bear in mind that it can take up to a year before you start to see any income as Google doesn’t just put pages on your site on page one straight away.

Freelance writers are hired usually by bloggers, magazine and newspaper editors to write for their website or publication.

You will need to be a fairly proficient writer and it can be helpful to have expertise about a particular topic, although this is not essential.

If you can write engaging, well researched articles then this online job is definitely worth a look.

I have seen freelance writers charging anything up to $200 per article but much will depend on your skill, reputation and how in depth you want to go.

A lot of freelance writers charge by the number of words they do and amount of research required.
